We hope the following pages will give you some insight into what HELP IN EGYPT is about. Working alongside Egyptian charity AL BADER in the village of Beshlaw in Upper Egypt.
This was a project started 12 months ago and involves the establishing of a small village school, clinic,work centre and play area.
AL BADER has great difficulty generating funds but is able to contact numerous business people in Cairo who inturn give their support by supplying blankets,clothing and food parcels for the poorest families in Beshlaw.
HELP IN EGYPT endeavours to raise funds towards the project and in one year managed to secure funding to purchase land and commence the construction of a clinic. The village people are building the structure themselves and at present have laid concrete foundations and pillars with plans inplace to start the brick work shortly.
Monthly sponsorship here in the UK has been positive with 12 sponsors giving a total of £165 per month between them. It is the hope of HELP IN EGYPT that more people will enlist their support for this project and take up a sponsorship
which will ensure education and health care for the Beshlaw people for years to come..
